The first day...we're on our way.

Here's a couple shots on the trip to Crescent City. The second is Natey sleeping...he even sleeps cool.

Once at our camping area we set up and got right to work...playing. We had some pretty intense horse shoe games. Chaysie was one of the cheerleaders. The last picture is a bunch of the little ones playing in the hollow of a redwood stump.

We had so much fun today at the pool. First we had the Reese kids over for a couple of hours and we played with them. They all get along so well.

Next, Kady, Cal, O, and Tessa came over for lunch and a dip in the pool. Kady has a wonderful talent of being extremely thoughtful. She brought me a beautiful vase of flowers from my mom and dads yard on Arminta (their old house in the Valley). Thanks Kady. That was really so sweet of you. Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of the kids in the pool because the Mommy's were in the pool saving the Dare Devil Owen who just jumped in! Good save Kady. He's gonna be a great swimmer.

Finally, we had our Young Women activity at the pool. Most of our YW are on vacation, including both of my big girls. Out of 45 girls on our rolls, we had 7 there plus a few visitors. YW Rock. It was a really fun day for Maryn and Natey. After everyone left, they had baths, dinner, a little movie and off to bed. They were tired little people.
Remember Benders... they're hot rollers. I think I've had them since high school. Actually they're probably Laurens. Anyhow, they are so HOT when you're trying to use them that we don't actually use them anymore. I was cleaning out under the sinks and decided to toss them. Natey was with me of course ( my little sidekick) and he sat for about an hour playing with benders. I suppose this is what happens to boys who grow up with 3 big girly girl sissy's! Noticed his "gun" is there with him. He loves to play Officer Nate too!
While Aunt Jaime and her kids and Grandpa and Grandma June and Uncle Heath were here visiting last week, we had a great time. One of the things the big girls taught the little ones to do was make these cute bracelets. They even taught Aunt Jaime and she made her and me matching anklets. We call them our BFF anklets! This is Taryn, Garrett and Maryn.
While I was at Girls Camp with the big girls, Nate was awakened more morning by Natey saying "Daddy, I'm hungry" Nate said his faced looked like this but it was really chocolate and he told Natey " I think you've already had something to eat". I would never let him eat sweets for breakfast. Nate just laughed out loud! When he went downstairs, he found one of the big King Size Chocolate bars with the whole corner eaten but Natey has wrapped it back up and put it back in the fridge. Too bad he didn't hide the evidence on his face!

Nate's new step sister Jaime and her 4 kids along with Grandpa and Grandma June and Uncle Heath came down for a visit this weekend. They're stopping at Banryland on their way to Disneyland. We spent Friday night in the pool. They got in around 5, we fed them real quick and then pulled them out of the pool about 8. Then Saturday we spent the day in the pool. Here we are a whole HOUR BEFORE CHURCH started all ready to go. When you're ready an hour early, you have time for a snack before you leave. Who knew! I can't get my family of 6 ready on time but when I have 8 extra people in my house, we can be ready an hour early. Go figure!!! Anyhow, we're having so much fun with them. They leave for 3 days to go to Disneyland and then we get them back for the 4th of July. We'll be in the pool again! More to post later!
Jaime's kids are Garret (7), Kelden (3), Taryn (5) and Ayla (1)

We set off with no reservations for the weekend... we were beach bound. We ended up at Buellton, actually Flying Flags which is a beautiful RV resort that we have been to before. We took walks, played games, played in the pool, watched movies, watched Emalee text and text and text and just hung out. Actually she didn't text the whole time. We love to be in our trailer together, even Emalee likes it!
Now Scott and Mark will stop buggin' us about our blog being outdated. Actually, Mark doesn't have the right to complain, being that he doesn't have a blog.
A very proud big sister Storme and it looks like a hungry little sister. Where's the bottle mama?

Maryn got to go on her first field trip with Kindergarten. Her other two field trips were "fired" out and "rained" out so she was pretty excited to finally get to go on a field trip. She loved the bus. That's her with her friend Morgyn. She's with her whole class before we got started seeing all the animals. The 3rd picture is our little group when we first got started "running" through the zoo. The last picture is our little group all tuckered out from "running" through the zoo! It was a very hot day but we took lots of water, kept them watered down and we had a really good time. Our other parent in our group was Mr. West!
So Natey needed a haircut, or so his mom said. Natey got all excited and got the clippers out. While he was waiting for me to finish my lunch he decided to get started and took a big chunk outta the front of his mop. I told Alli I could either give him a "Daddy-do", or a military cut. I think it looks pretty good. He's just such a handsome guy. He even has a pretty good "OohRah"!
I'm in Utah right now with this little sweetie. This is my new niece born Wednesday, May 21st. She was born at 4:26pm. She weighed 7lbs. and was 181/2 in. long. I got to spend the first night with my sister in the hospital because her hubby needed to be with her four and two year old. So...I got to feed GG and snuggle her all night long. That's the way to have a baby! Lauren is doing better tonight (Thursday). She hemorrhaged and had a hard night last night and a hard day today. She's got a beautiful little angel in the end.
