April, Stacy and Heather had this on their blogs, and I thought it was pretty cool. I added a few things to make it more interesting and challenge you to add your own. I’ll keep checking back and update as we go. So here's mine.
Three jobs I have had: Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Green Chain Puller, Cowboy. (Anyone know what a Green Chain Puller does?)
Three places I have lived: Medford, Oregon; Reno, Nevada; Provo, Utah;
Three shows that I watch: Heroes, Lost, Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles
Three places I have been: Taiwan, China; Washington DC; Downtown LA (Can you believe I'm still alive?)
Three people who email me often: Aunt Gwen, Duane Reese, Allison
Three of my favorite foods: Anything Chinese, Lasagna, Peanut butter and honey sandwich (on soft white bread).
Three places I'd rather be right now: Camping in our trailer, Pulling our trailer on the way to go camping, Picking up our trailer to go on the trip that we've been planning to go on.
Three friends I think will respond: Friends?
Three things I am looking forward to this year: Christmas, Death Valley camping trip, anything but the "Twilight" movie.
Three cars I’ve owned: Chevy Luv, International Travelall, Geo Spectrum.
Three of my happiest moments: My wedding day (cause I knew Alli was mine), The births of my children (I know that’s really four, but they were all wonderful), and camping with my family.
Three of my most embarrassing moments: When I was in grade school I was asked to do the Pledge of Allegiance and I started it, “Our Dear Heavenly Father”; While learning Chinese on my mission I called myself cockroach instead of Elder; I’m still too embarrassed to say the third one.
Three things I want to do before I die: Go to Hawaii, go to Europe, and go back to China.
This past week was filled with performances from all three of our girls. Stay tuned for pictures and maybe even some clips from the shows. (If I can figure out how Nate does that!)
So the results are in and Allison has won our "first ever" poll. It doesn't really come as much of a surprise, being that she is the most amazing woman I've ever met. I'm sure any of you who have met her will agree...if not lets step outside and talk about it. My cookies did get one vote, but that doesn't really count because it came from Allison...and she changed a vote to do that. So she's disqualified from voting and therefor wins with 100% of the 45 million votes. I figure if American Idol can make up numbers so can I. I was a bit surprised that my truck didn't get any votes. I thought for sure I'd get at least one vote from my cousin Heath, being that he has the same truck. But he voted for Alli also. Well, I can blame him for that. So I'll be posting another poll, so stay put and vote.
Nate's 100 reason's why he loves his truck! We know that this will be a great addition to our website and that you, like the Banry Family, are very excited about this. We are working hard to bring this wonderful new development to you as soon as possible. Oh...and if you're luck, we may even have pictures. Check back soon.
